The 18th Málaga Festival of Spanish cinema, which will be celebrated from April 17-26, has introduced the jury members of its different sections and calls this 2015 fest the most feminine in history.

The festival counts in its official section three titles directed by women: Como sobrevivir a una despedida [watch the trailer in Spanish here], by Manuela Moreno; Aprendiendo a conducir [starring Patricia Clarkson and Ben Kingsley], by Isabel Coixet and Requisitos para ser una persona normal, by the actress and now, director, Leticia Dolera. ...[J]ury president of the official section of feature films will be the filmmaker Judith Colell (vicepresident of the Film Academy) [and]
actresses Nathalie Poza and Manuela Velasco, with others, will help round out the jury.

...[A]ctress María Adánez and the documentary filmmaker María Cañas will chair the juries for ZonaZine and Documentary, respectively. The ZonaZine jury will also include director
Ana Pérez de la Fuente. But that’s not all. Director Laura Mañá will head the Latin American Territory jury with director Andrea Herrera and writer Andrés Neuman while the Short Film jury will include professor Isabel Garnelo and others.

Also announced, the
Animazine short films jury will include María Guerra of Cadena Ser [online news and radio] and Yolanda Flores of RNE [National Spanish Radio].
