Last week at Bluestocking Film Series in Portland, Maine, we were happy to welcome screenwriter and story consultant Anne LaBarba! Anne traveled from New York to attend the two-night screening of shorts on July 15 and 16 at the University of Southern Maine and meet with filmmakers and special guests such as Maria Giese, the film director who's spearheading the EEOC investigation into the hiring practices of women in Hollywood (@MariaGiese / blog), filmmaker and actress Yolonda Ross of The Bad Batch, "The Getdown," and Go For Sisters (@YolondaRoss), and others. Read more about Anne and her work below (and be sure to follow @BluestckngFilm)!
